So do you put the full-path-to-script in the rc.local? Something like /home/anne/popfilestart.sh ? [newbie] automatic start of process
Does anyone know how I can have my Mandrake 7.0 box start a process automatically? I'm running Squid and would like squid to start when the machine boots. Thanks, Craig
Re: [newbie] automatic start of process
You can add your commands in the /etc/rc.d/rc.local file. This script i executed at the end of the boot process. Or you can see if it is the services proposed by the "setup" program. You could also see if there is a way to include its starting/stopping in the runlevels with tksysv.
