[newbie] Banned from my own server

2001-04-30 Thread John Douglas

Hi,

I've set up a
Linux server with several windoz terminals. I have entered theinfo for the
users of these terminals andI usedto be able to log onto the Linux
machine as any of these users.

Without any
apparent reason one of the users terminal cannot see the server, and, if I log
onto the Linux machine as this user I get the message "Could not read net work
connection list. Please check that the dcompserver program is running". The
screen then resets and returns to the login screen.

I think that the
user must have made an illegal move and is now bared.I have tried removing
the user and then installing him again. It makes no
difference.

How can I rectify
this problem?

Kind regards
John

I have done this to myself.
