Hi, Right click on the file name and "Save As". HTH, Rob Saul Patti Wavinak wrote: Hi Jeff -- I hold down the shift key when you click on the downloadable file and that should do the trick. Thanks. -- Jeff Malka [EMAIL PROTECTED] Registered Linux User 348854 Jeff, Hold the shift key down when selecting the file to download. Sometimes, Netscape doesn't recognize the file as a downloadable. The shift key will force it to. This is fairly common for linux files, for some reason. Re: [newbie] Cannot download with Netscape?
It wasn't a dumb question. actually it's something that almost all new people to Linux experience and it won't happen with all files for some reason. when you want to download a file press the shift key and hold it down while clicking on the link for the file to be downloaded and you're off. -- Mark ** Registered Linux user # 182496 ** On Sat, 29 Jul 2000, Jeff Malka wrote: I know this is a dumb question, but using Netscape under Mandrake 7.1, I cannot seem to download.
