The only problem I have with MandrakeOnline is that the applet turns Red before the updates have actually hit the mirrors. derek -- www.jennings.homelinux.net http://twiki.mdklinuxfaq.org I didn't realise that you could have one PC free. I thought you had to pay for automatic updates full stop. Or do you mean if you buy a boxed version you get one pc free? Regards, Steve Goodey Sorry my information is out of date. When MandrakeOnline was first introduced the first machine was free in perpetuity. (That is when I signed up) The current terms are $21.95 a year, although Mandrake Club Silver members can have one computer for free. derek -- www.jennings.homelinux.net http://twiki.mdklinuxfaq.org Want to buy your Pack or Services from MandrakeSoft? [newbie] Ethereal and mandrakeonline.net
I tinkered a little with Ethereal tonight. I noticed a constant pattern of my box doing a DNS lookup of mandrakeonline.net, but I am not running any apps that would be doing that. What's going on?
