[newbie] How to disable Win key?

2003-03-16 Thread Yoel P. Krigsman
Hello...

I have one of my computers running in CLI mode at all times as my
monitor is very old.

Every time I use the computer and I accidentally hit the Win key, it
advances to the next TTY port higher than the previous one.

HOW can I disable that function so that it won't do anything if I
accidentally hit the Win key?

Yoel Krigsman

P.S. Win key is the key between alt and Ctrl on the left side of the
keyboard.

Have you tried changing the keyboard layouts? And if that doesn't work,
what about utilising a flat-head screwdriver to physically remove the
Win key from the keyboard - then you won't hit it accidentally anymore,
ay? (JOKING); I would assume, ASSUME that by changing the keyboard
layout to 101-standard that it would disable that special key...but
then again, I could be wrong. I hate keyboards like that anyways...I
prefer the nice, old fashioned ones...

What do people like to drink here, then?

they were directly in front of him.
