I have Mandrake's own prefered D4X downloader version 2.4.0 which I downloaded vis the M9.1 add new software programme. It installed fine and comes up to use in the normal way.
Trouble is I cannot get the programme to reume a download that has been broken and reconnected to the net via kppp. Why ?
In previous versions I either had a terminal come up with D4X or I put one up and typed nt -r <enter> to make it resume a failed download. It does not seem to work now in M9.1
Am I doing something wrong?, has something changed ? , or is this a bug ?

The server your d/l'g from has to support resume. Even with some servers that do, I've had to r-click on the file and choose resume. IMO, d4x use to be better. It's gotten too much user feedback, bells and whistles requests. IOW's over developed. Same damn thing is happen'n with pan. A developer's axiom, fixin a bug, or addin features, risk creatin more bugs ;(
