I got help from another member of our list at his web site http://www.midkan.com/paulb/mycdr.htm He tell you how to immulate a scsi drive with your IDE cd burner. so go check it out. I believe that I have linux seeing my ide burner and I've actually read the instructions that came with xcdroast today but I haven't got it working yet.
