Rick I liked the things I've found with 6.1. It has Netscape
Rick 6.1, the latest kde which will now load gnome applications,
Rick xcdroast already installed. I think it is worth the
Rick upgrade.

Does it have xemacs 21.? ?

Ian,

I believe it is for IDE as well. I got help from another member of our list at
his web site http://www.midkan.com/paulb/mycdr.htm
He tell you how to immulate a scsi drive with your IDE cd burner. so go check
it out. I believe that I have linux seeing my ide burner and I've actually read
the instructions that came with xcdroast today but I haven't got it working
yet. Tonight I'm fiddling with real audio again and seeing if I can get the
upgrade working.

I'm running Mandrake 6.0 with all the patches. If I take the time to
upgrade to 6.1 what will it give me?
