Re: [newbie] Mouse Question - MS Intellimouse Explorer (USB)
Russell Which generic driver did you select? I'm having problems getting my first-time Linux install to recognise my MS I.E. mouse at all, so any advice would be appreciated! Re: [newbie] Mouse Question - MS Intellimouse Explorer (USB)
It works with the PS/2 port, because that's what mouse I use. But someone else just today mailed something about his USB intellimouse explorer not being recognized. But as of yet, no one knows why. It should recognize USB mice, but for some reason his isn't found. But if you use the PS/2 port, it will definitly work. So you might try it with USB first, to see if it works for you. Oh, it won't TOTALLY work, as the two side buttons do nothing in Linux, but the two top ones, and the wheel all work.
