[newbie] Pam_timestamp

Does anyone know what this message is in my syslog?  I believe it has to
do with msecbut I am not possitive.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

[newbie] pam_timestamp

my sys logs are flooded with these messages
Jun  3 08:55:50 kade pam_timestamp_check: pam_timestamp: `/var/run/' owner GID 
!= 0 and != 4

Does this have to do with msec security level 3 and 5?  How can I fix this?
