[newbie] Radio Ham Question....

2004-08-26 Thread JRH

Hi,

I know there are a few Radio Hams who lurk on here

I'm looking for the Linux equivalent of CWGET, the soundcard morse decoding
program.

Anybody know of a linux equivalent?

73's,

JRH

Check the Linux Ham Radio Utilities page at

http://radio.linux.org.au/

there are about 20 morse applications there, including a couple of
decoders (plus everything else you might need)

Using Google I found at the following links you may want to
investigate. There are more, I stopped after the first page:

http://wwwhome.cs.utwente.nl/~ptdeboer/ham/rscw/
http://radio.linux.org.au/?sectpat=morseordpat=titledescpat=
http://webperso.easyconnect.fr/om.the/web/xcw/
Never used them so I don't know if they even work.
Good luck,
Avi

There's a Playstation game called R/C Copter, or something similar. I found it

Most of the games are too easy Choppers are nasty mean twitchy b***hes .
I am looking for one where I can use the Transmitter in Buddy Box mode
 plugged into the game port.

I've never heard of one but I would sure like to. FMS under windows is
my favorite (price-$0.00!). Perhaps it can be run under wine.

Under the Mandrake Control Center, hardware, TV card. You can click the button
that enables radio support.

And the 2nd problem is how to run my tv card ?

It will also setup your TV card with XawTV.
