[newbie] Ritmo USB modem model N2801

2003-08-14 Thread Brian Parish
I have a customer with one of these. Drakconnect doesn't want to see
it. I'm not sure whether this qualifies as a Winmodem, but a quick scan
of linmodems.org didn't show up anything. Does anyone have experience
with one of these?

TIA
Brian

They really suck - just like their USB cameras...but in the meanwhile,
you might want to check the modem to see what it REALLY is; the RITMO
company often gets the modems made by someone else.

Opening a terminal program and typing:

at i4

Should tell you who REALLY made it...or at least who's chipset is in
it...that generally helps to narrow down the search, mate.
