You should have added that this message comes from (correct me when I am
wrong) a KFM panel popup. It will fail, I guess, since Caitoo is (I learnt
that from the list) an application. KFM does not seem to understand this
(did you chmod +x /usr/bin/caitoo ?), and therefor tries to open it.

[newbie] Trying to Open

I still get "Trying to open file:/usr/bin/caitoo" when clicking on the
link placed on my desktop. On top of that the same message appears when
I click on the Caitoo icon in /usr/bin directory.  Have downloaded and
installed/removed, and reinstalled both the rpm and .tar files, from
many sites, including rpmfind, tucows, cnet, kde, redhat add infininum.
Can anyone assist me.

Mandrake 7.02, etc.

To consult the man pages in an X environment, I think you'd better use
xman.

Then I am ask to OPEN WITH.

If you don't know what to open with, how do you find out the answer?? :)
