[newbie] Audio CD,No Sound Revisited!/FIXED!!!Thanks Charles!

2002-05-18 Thread Dimitris Ioannou

Thanks Charles,

I opened the box just to find out that the cable that connects the audio
from CDROM, well DVD-ROM actually, was pulled out from its proper place on
the sound card. Pulled it in and everything works perfect. Thanks again,
it seems that sometimes one misses the obvious things and starts looking
in more complexed places.

Cheers

Dimitris

oTry with gcombust (it's probly already installed)

ocdrecord doesn't seem to like your media either. The right code
for Ritek cdr's is 22, not 81 as reported. Try using a different
media than the one you're using.
o If you're usin older versions of cdrecord and mkisofs, try
updating. I've had no problems with..

Tom,

Just recently have I started experimenting with CDRW frontends. I just
tried gcombust per your advice, and it blows xcdroast away. Thanks!
