I have a problem. I started out with Mandrake 6.0 installed OK in my machine and I had kppp operating. I could send & receive e-mail and get on the internet. I got Mandrake 7.0 and did a new install and could not get kppp to go any where. No ping and Netscape just would just sit there. I then did a new install of 6.0 again and I still can't ping or get on the internet. Kppp appears to be connected it docks on the upper tool bar and said its connected if I pick up the phone it sounds like its exchanging packets the phone line is connected to something. I have been reading the posts here from others that have had a problem like this. Can any make a additional suggestion. resolv.conf returns : domain minot.ndak.net #kppp temp entry search 206.30.27.130 nameserver 206.30.27.130 #kppp temp entry nameserver 206.30.27.130 #kppp temp entry Minot.ndak.net is my internet provider and 206.3027.130 is there domain number. In the kppp setup in the account setup section on the ip tab the box is unchecked. I didn't have any trouble setting kppp up the first time at all ...newbie that I am...HELP anyone. Thanks John
