I've used the logitech optical mouse. It was a matter of plug and play. Make sure you're set on "intellimouse". Does the beam get bright with movement? I'm still looking for a cordless optical mouse. Of course, not one made from Microsoft. As far as uninstalling linux... just reformat the linux partitions. Did you want to keep your 'home' partition? [newbie] laser eye mice
Hi all- Does anyone use the laser eye mouse with their linux box ? If so what did you have to do to get it to work ? Also how do I correctly uninstall linux ? Im going to kill windoze and devote my entire drive to linux so I want to do it right. Thank you, Chronos.

to correctly uninstall linux delete it from the partition that is the only method currently available, use fdisk since your deleting windows as type fdisk /mbr this kills lillo or grub makes things a little easier when you re install linux, then type fdisk now using the menu choices available delete all partitions, reboot your computer with the install disk, or if you are using mandrake just reboot from the disk when it gets to how you want to partition the drive click on all partitions and click on delete, now auto allocate, or you can choose to allocate your own way
