[newbie] libqt, libstdc++, GLIBC 2.2 not installed?
I'm trying to install avifile (so I can play ASF and DivX), trying to install the rpm, I get three errors about various libs not being installed: error: failed dependancies: libqt-mt.so.2 is needed by avifile-0.50-1 libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3 is needed by avifile-0.50-1 libpthread.so.0(GLIBC_2.2) is needed by avifile-0.50-1 I've tried (re)installing various packages from the CD's, but no avail. If you want .tar.gz files, you can use the info you get from the rpm search to know what tarballs to do an ftp search for.
