Mars include an example nwserv.conf which you need to move into the /etc
directory and edit.
Go thru the file and change the settings to get things to work as you
need them to.
By default merely copying nwserv.conf and running mars will not get you
anywhere as certain things are disabled.
The file is self explanatory.
When you are finished with it
"service mars-new start"
Fires it up.
An "slist" command should now show your newly configured "Pseudo-Novell"
server.
Mars will also interface with CUPS/LPR/Samba printers.
Your Linux box will act as an Internet/Microsoft Networks/Novell/NFS/SSH
server (and more) all at the same time...
Mars has been part of the standard Mandrake/Redhat distros for a while.

Subject: [newbie] mars_nwe
Hi! All,
I've heard of a program called MARS_NWE which is a clone Novell Netware.
Has anyone ever tried to install it in Linux-Mandrake? If so, can anyone
give me some guide on how to install it in Linux-Mandrake?
Thanks
Jhun
