and as always http://www.linuxdoc.org/HOWTO/HOWTO-INDEX/index.html and

Just to add my 2 cents, do a search for the  O'Reilly site they may have 
Using Samba on the web site as a free download, not sure but it is a very 
good book and worth looking for. HTH

And, the one no one has mentioned yet, http://www.samba.org has all kinds
of very useful information regarding samba -- after all, it's the website
of the people who are working on samba in the first place.
