I don't know of anyone who's said they sucessfully installed them with 7.1 http://www.mandrakeforum.com/article.php3?sid=20001221005311 has a comment on how to rebuild them for i586, if that's also an issue. -- Tom Brinkman [EMAIL PROTECTED] Galveston Bay --- Tom Brinkman [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: On Friday 22 December 2000 07:41 pm, Adrian Gunawan wrote: how can i uninstall XFree86-server ? no need to uninstall because i want to upgrade to the new one but it can't upgrade it said the file conflicts with the new package if anyone can help me From what to what? Do a "man RPM" from a shell. Lots of options there including: --nodeps (will install despite dependency problems) --force (will install over top of existing) and don't forget: rpm -q name of package (to see what version you currently have) rpm -e name of package (to uninstall a current version) Read the man results carefully, it will help a lot! ;-) -- /\ DarkLord \/
