[newbie] whois nslookup..

2000-09-04 Thread Robert Griffiths

For all those that helped me with my traceroute problem...thanks. I've been
trying to locate 'whois nslookup' which i can't find although i've seen
fwhois on the installation cd, my question is, is nslookup on the cd under a
different name because i can seem to find it, also is there a whois instead
of fwhois, as kpackage tells me that there is a difference between them. I
know this is a dumb question but any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

   Robert.

nslookup should be in bind-utils as far as I remember but if you use the
kpackage to install rpms you can locate single files using the menu. I donĀ“t
remember correctly but I think it is under Edit - pull down each menu and
see for yourself
