Thanks for the links Mark. The one place I did manage to find that I could
buy a subscription from the price was inflated 3 times what it costs in
the UK. If it costs the equivilant of $23 in the UK, the same subscription
costs $75 here. I guess that's not too bad really cuz they've got to
import it and everything.

I also live in the UK , I am english and also have opinions but this is NOT the
place to air them.

This is a LINUX newsgroup. Linux is a system built on friendship and
understanding and such talk can only lead to division.

This subject has a way of getting out of hand very quickly as many people, even
non-nationals, have their own opinions and slant on the topic due to the fact
that it covers more than just land ownership (religion, terrorism also being
valid issues). Therefore what we say may upset many people, as being english
/ irish our views are rather inflenced and prejudiced by nationality.

Send private e-mails to each other by all means if you want a political
converstion but NOT via the linux newsgroup.

We had a thread a couple of weeks about about 2nd amendment rights in America,

Gack... I was off by half! I got confused and was thinking of Maxximum
Linux when I quotes $7.95 (ok, ok, I *quoted* $795). Today I went over
there to see what was in this month's Linux rags and they had Linux Forum.
It was $13.95 (I suppose for consistency that should be $1395)

It did come with a CD that included Omnis Studio Lite (db based app
developer), Gnome 1.2 and a bunch of other stuff. The magazine seemed to
have a lot of decent stuff in it.

Mildly chagrined!!

I'd give it a 9 out of 10. I've used in on servers, laptops, and desktop
client machines so I probably tested it more than they did. ; It didn't
install w/ OpenSSH which annoys me, the GUI installer shares some bugs w/
non-compat video cards w/ others like RedHat, and the security options
should be more selective in your choices. Otherwise awesome. :)
