It is possible for a package to be signed with a signature not on your keyring. The Software sources GUI in mcc will show you what keys you have associated with each source. The issue with packages not being signed or having the wrong signature has nothing to do with them not being able to install. If you have trouble with corrupted packages check out /var/cache/urpmi/rpms If you have a corrupted package in there, then it will cause you problems.
