It's on the International disk. I have the PowerPack, so sometimes I
accidentally mislead people like this :-) But I would think it would
be downloadable. Have you got all your sources configured? Hint -
google 'easy urpmi' There's also a tarball on Adobe's Acrobat

Acrobat is available on Texstar's urpmi repository, or on Mandrake Clubs urpmi
repository.
The usual URL for adding urpmi sources
http://plf.zarb.org/~nanardon/index.php

Yes, it prints fairish quality, even though Z53c is my best driver.
I have 4 to choose from. I guess something is lost maybe in all this conversion.
I think my next best course of action is to get the Acrobat tar ball installed.

John, it doesn't look a big file, but too big to post to the list.
Unless the contents are private, I suggest that you send me boththe
pdf and the ps file, and I'll see what I can get out of them.

Thanks Derek , I will tke a look at Texstar,

The problem is that KGhostview refuses,
Oh, but you mean call gv and use that, OK,
lets try that, yes, that is printing off this .pdf file,
I wonder what the quality is like, lets see,
well it's fair quality, but I don't know which of my 4 drivers it used,
didn't tell me.
Still it works.

Maybe my black cartridge needs a cleanout.
This is a text document and the print quality is not as sharp as it
ought to be, and
that which I know it is capable of.

Try using xpdf. It will convert the .pdf to a.ps file and then print from gs.
I'm sure there are many other ways that might work with even fewer steps, but
I like my results with this method.

has two types of xpdf,
xpdf from RawHide sources
xpdf from PLD Linux Distribution
Mandrake is quite far down the list , suggesting not very current, but
