I used to use a pop account and when I would delete emails that had been left on the server, the emails would still appear in my inbox for a while. I think it was because the files had been flagged for deletion, but there was a lag before the server actually deleted them.. Want to buy your Pack or Services from MandrakeSoft? Are you using POP and telling your client to leave messages on the server? Certainly KMail can be configured either to leave messages on the server or delete from the server when downloaded. This rings bells - could it be that the option is only available on imap accounts? I used to have an imap account, and Netscape used to offer that option. I'm guessing that his is an imap account, and that Mozilla will allow him to do that. Anne -- Registered Linux User No.293302 Want to buy your Pack or Services from MandrakeSoft? Todd: Its not IMAP as M$ Outlook has that options to act like an IMAP but in a POP's protocol. My ISP wont enable IMAP for me, IF I am not able to do this with any linux based mail program, I will have to install vmware and run M$ Outlook in that method. In Kmail, when you set up the pop server (under the network tab) there's an option you can select that says, Leave message on server Same with Evolution.
