There are plenty of search engines for list archives, but not
many centralized ones (aside from groups.yahoo.com, where plenty
of listgroups are archived). However, the second best after that
is the search on Usenet and that is very much available on
groups.google.com and yes, that is probably the best source of my
information (probably better than google.com itself).

[Newbie]i830graphic on Solaris8

 I compiled xfree86-4.2.0 on Solaris8. and installed it.
Then I tried to run "XFree86 -configure /etc/X11/XF86Config.
Next my machine was freezing. are there anything wrong in my setting?

Red Hat 8.0 only generates a single file /etc/X11/XF86Config.  The 
XFree86-3.3.6 server and drivers have been completely removed and so the 
need for two sets of config files is gone.
