'free' from a shell prompt

'top' will also show you how much ram is being used, how much is free,
total ram, swap size, etc. It'll also tell you which processes are using
the most CPU and RAM.

I had that problem as well. I solved it by creating a small bootable dos
partition and then running /dosutils/autoboot/install.bat. This boots into a
menu where one of the items is DrakX from CD-rom.

I just tried to install mandrake 7.0, but is doesn't work. It says that 
there is not a mandrake cdrom in the cdromdrive and hangs after that (during

the cdromprobing).

My cdrom is an atapi liteon 32x/aku.

I've tried to put the cdrom on a fat32partition, but that also doesn't work

i´m trying don´t  support resuming. 
I really need a server that support resuming, ´cause I loose the
conection quite a lot.
 Anybody know a server that support resuming?
