I have both mandrake 91. and 9.2. Xawtv works OK both with OSS. I tried with alsa which was default in 9.2. I checked aumix, kmix and alsa mixer. But Xawtv didn't give sound. Now with OSS drivers selected kde control center|sound, it works. [newbie] problem: XawTV
Hi, the default icon with command /usr/bin/XawTV -c /dev/v4l/video0 doesn't open anymore the tvcard screen. I made a new icon with command /usr/bin/XawTV that works fine!! Mandrake 8.1 mi ha installato il programma XawTV. Con la cam vedo l'immagine mezza verde e mezza grigia. Con l'ingresso composito vedo l'immagine Tv solo in bianco nero. Ciao a tutti Elio

In questi giorno sto sperimentando un problema analogo. Ho una sccheda con ingresso composito, super-video e antenna. Con il collegamento videregistratore-computer tramite antenna ho immagini perfette, con gli altri due mezzi immagini scarse ( quasi in bianco e nero). Potrebbe dunque essere un problema hardware, più che software. Luca Mandrake 8.1 mi ha installato il programma XawTV. Con la cam vedo l'immagine mezza verde e mezza grigia. Ciao a tutti. Ho un problema con xawtv. Il programma funziona e ricevo bene i canali. Il problema si ha quando voglio catturare una immagine jpeg o ppm che viene catturata male. Vedere l'allegato: attachment: snap-la 7-20011212-080348-1.jpeg
