SERGEI SNEGOV: INTERNATIONAL TRIBUNAL WILL DO ITS BEST TO AVOID TRANSFORMATION OF TRIAL OVER MILOSEVIC INTO TRIAL OVER NATO Preliminary hearing of ex-President Milosevics case starts on July 2-3, Hague Tribunal Prosecutor announced today. At the same time, all the channels of western information agencies inform, that Serbian President Milan Milutinovic can appear before International Tribunal on his own free will. He is being also accused of criminals against humanity. Though the President, who supposes to be accused as a head of one of Yugoslavian republics, disclaims completely his responsibility for events in Kosovo. In general, the well known del Ponto seems to intend to carry the trial over Milosevic and other Yugoslavian leaders to the conclusion. The main point Milosevic accused of is events in Kosovo. It is not clear, how the Prosecutor wants to prove the fact of genocide committed against Albanians in Kosovo. There is not still any confirmation of mass execution of population in this region, western propaganda shouted about while bombing Yugoslavia. Later many western politicians had to admit, it had been namely propaganda urged to justify Balkan intervention. Everybody remembers a big international scandal, when experts arrived in Kosovo to search for buried victims of Milosevics regime cannot find anything and had to finish their work. Already at that time some hard statements were made. Later scandals about Kosovo arouse one after another. Missiles of depleted uranium, Serbs killed in the region, elections, which only NATOs politicians could call democratic. And finally, Albanians attack in Macedonia. It is clear, that Yugoslavian army fought with terrorists in Kosovo, who have now created a real military base on this territory and make sallies into adjoining territories. The facts of killing citizens have not been confirmed. Moreover, the whole world could see the facts of killing by Albanians Serbian soldiers. In a situation similar to what is happening now in Yugoslavia Russia also could be, if it were smaller and weaker. After reports about Chechnya made by Ms Politkovskaya (she has also made a noticeable contribution in Kosovian campaigns coverage) NATOs bombers could also appear in Chechen sky. What will be the proof of Milosevics criminals: propaganda shots or shots of bombing Yugoslavia? We have the case, when aim is authorized by means and means are authorized by aim.
