A bunch of old msges just came in... did you get the bolts in the
end? Canada is almost metric so if you haven't I can drop 3 bolts in
an envelope and mail it to you. If it's under $5 buy me a beer next
time we meet, more than that we can figure something out.

At 02:36 PM 1/16/2012, you wrote:

Hmm I mean the two bolts that hold on the battery bracket onto the frame.

Oh snap! I went looking on bikebandit for the bracket and found this:
http://www.bikebandit.com/houseofmotorcycles/1993-honda-cb750sc-nighthawk-750/o/m1987#sch15010

Sure enough they have the spec right there on the drawing, which I
hadn't seen before...

16:
237473-4 BOLT, FLANGE (6X10)
(6X10),AC

So, I guess I've got it now... There are actually 3 of them, and I
only noticed 2. I guess I'm stopping by HD on my way home tonight. :)

I am just getting back from a long trip so maybe I am late. About
batteries I keep being surprised with the sealed yuasa that came
with my NH 750. In March the bike will have 3 years since I bought
it. Again, the battery came with it. I have never used a battery
tender on that bike. The bike was used a lot the first year and a
half, until I got a couple more. Now is used every once in a while.
Every single time, the bike cranks. That battery has never fail on
me. That is my experience.

Graham, I think he is talking about a CB1000, is a naked bike that
looks similar to the nighthawk. Actually, we did discuss this
particular bike when I was thinking in buying it, and I think the
posts should be in the archive. Just look for them.

I've found one here in Missouri for sale for $2,500. I'm not very
tall 5'8" and I find the Nighthawk a perfect size, is this bike
going to be to tall? I have not ridden the cb1000 yet. Thanks for
