[Nix-dev] pkg-config: update and avoid patching?
Hi there, I was just trying to track down problems I have compiling some source under NixOS, and it seems as pkg-config is causing some trouble. That's why I wanted to bring up issue #292 again: Broken pkg-config patch for Requires.private Are there any plans to integrate a newer version of pkg-config and to avoid patching it? Are there any plans to integrate a newer version of pkg-config and to avoid patching it? I don't think there are any plans yet. IMO some kind of that patch is very useful (with nix), porting it isn't easy, and I know of no issues with our current pkgconfig.
