Re: [Nix-dev] Next release updates
It takes about a day to do a stdenv rebuild (given that all nixos tests pass), so I don't see an issue with that. I also have a few Haskell documentation updates that I'd like to get in. I wouldn't call that a blocker, but, well, it would be nice to have those changes included in the release. I can push that stuff during the weekend. Peter ___ nix-dev mailing list nix-dev@lists.science.uu.nl http://lists.science.uu.nl/mailman/listinfo/nix-dev

Last blocker is releasing nixops 1.3, which has issues with new sshd keys and their incompatibilities with previous release. Only i686 build, but yes, we should upgrade to 5.0.1 and fix the build. Re: [Nix-dev] Next release updates
Hi all, there are two more issues I'd like to at least pinpoint before we make the release: - VirtualBox 5 is causing segfaults, we could try upgrading it to 5.0.4 or revert to 4.x https://github.com/NixOS/nixpkgs/issues/9732 - There are segfaults building packages on Hydra server farm, the cause is for now unknown Let me know if there is something else you consider a blocker for the release. Amazing. What about OSX and other targets ? It would be great if the findutils revert was part of the release. A week is around, everyone is doing a great job fixing bugs and build failures. We have around 50 build failures more and zero blocking issues. Let me know if you find something. So far everything is going as planned so we might have a release in about a week!
