Thanks, [~jleroux] for looking into it.

This permission issue is not related to the above fix.

I have registered a new customer on ecommerce portal and tried it. It is
working fine. It might be a permission or security group issue with
DemoCustomer.

Pradeep Choudhary commented on OFBIZ-12103:
---

Regenerated the mentioned issue. It was occurring due to misplacement of
orderItemSeqId variable under the form.

When user tries to cancel an item, it was sending the list of item seq Ids to
'cancelOrderItem' service in string format like "[1, 2]". On further
processing, service tries to find orderItem with the given value which returns
an empty result.

As there was an incorrect check to validate list, service was not showing the
proper error message.

Added patch for following:
1. Corrected check to validate the list variable.
2. Passed orderItemSeqId with 'cancelOrderItem' request directly to send
particular item seqId only while cancelling an item.

Reverified data on the latest code branches, corresponding data is removed
which causing the mentioned error. Updated directories on latest code version
and rechecked.

This is not regenerating. Sorry for the noise.

Nothing to change. CLosing this ticket.

[jira] [Commented] (OFBIZ-10512) Change order of parameters in runSyncIgnore

Here,

{code:java}
void runSyncIgnore(String serviceName, int transactionTimeout, boolean
requireNewTransaction, Object... context) throws ServiceAuthException,
ServiceValidationException, GenericServiceException; {code}

'context' parameter is used as var args (variable argument) in this method ie.
This argument can accept variable number of values.

As per the java conventions, it should be always at the last of the list. If we
try to move it, java shows the following error: "Vararg parameter must be the
last in the list".

We can also check the reference for this it
{code:java}
@Override
public void runSyncIgnore(String serviceName, int transactionTimeout, boolean
requireNewTransaction, Object... context)
 throws ServiceAuthException, ServiceValidationException,
GenericServiceException {
 runSyncIgnore(serviceName, ServiceUtil.makeContext(context),
transactionTimeout, requireNewTransaction);
}{code}
GenericDispatcherFactory.java [141]

I this above example, same method calls the override method to place the
'context' param at 2nd place.

We can't change the position of context parameter in runSyncIgnore method due
to java limitation for using varargs.

As mentioned in ticket
[OFBIZ-10275|https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OFBIZ-10275]

"The fix could be to only use the canonicalize logic to check the original
value for double/mixed encoding and to encode the original value afterwards via
URLDecoder instead of using the canonicalize output for this.
This way the UrlCodec decode method matches the encode method by only using
URLDecoder / URLEncoder for doing the main job."

Here, we have passed canonicalize output to URLDecoder.decode() method.
Canonicalize, the method itself decodes the parameters and we are passing its
output for further decoding, therefore it renders exception.

I have explored around the tax issue for exploded items. When we add items to
the cart, the tax is applied on the item level ie. OrderAdjutsment has
orderItemSeqId and it displays on the order view page.

But, as we click the final 'Submit Order' button, the system explodes the items
and recreate orderItemSeqIds for the added items. It might be the issue there
that recalculation of itemSeqId removing the existing tax adjustments.

It needs further exploration around the issue.

creation in case of explode items. I am looking further into it to debug the

As checked, data sanitization takes place in service validation in the
following steps:
 # If the service parameter contains allow-html="safe", it calls
*UtilCodec.checkStringForHtmlSafe* method for data sanitization.
 # It doesn't check the OWASP sanitizer configuration ie. sanitizer is enabled
or disabled.
 # Perform policy checks and sanitization without entertaining the
configuration flag.

IMO, UtilCodec.checkStringForHtmlSafe method should have proper checks to
validate sanitizer configuration, which will perform the further operation only
if the user enables the flag.

WDYT?

Overrided 'contactNumber' field in 'updatePartyTelecomNumber' and
'updateTelecomNumber' service and marked optional="false". It will validate the
empty contact number values and prevent user to add empty values for Telecom
Number form.

Added patch for the same.

Pradeep Choudhary commented on OFBIZ-10532:
---

I was looking into this issue, here are my findings,

When the user selects the configurable product on order entry page, checks
default flags and click 'Add to order' button, it redirects the user to
Configure Product page.

As I checked, all the selected parameters like 'default flags for next entry'
are also available in the request on this screen. But, as the user clicks 'Add
to Order' from the configure product page, existing request parameters get
removed and only form params forwarded to next response page.

Need to check this issue, how can we set the existing request params with the
configure product form.

I have tested the various cases to choose lookup and dropdown dynamically for
'product' option, but due to dependent dropdowns the functionality is breaking
and it is complex to handle the behaviour of the fields on runtime.

I think we can keep the existing implementation as is.

> On numerous occasions while placing Sales or Purchase quote in system, the
> business is conducted first time with given party and its quite possible that
> given party don't pre-exist in system.
> At that point of time user could be allowed to create the party in either
> Customer or Supplier role by asking few primary details as follows:
> # Party Name
> # Billing/Shipping Address
> Rest of the details can be later added/update with respect to added party
> from Party screens.

[jira] [Commented] (OFBIZ-10669) Getting Insecure connection error while navigating from product link

Pradeep Choudhary commented on OFBIZ-10669:

Attaching patch for the mentioned issue.

As mentioned in the ticket description, 8080 appending in URL.
Explored around it. When we pass the flag fullPath='true' in Freemarker
transform it appends the server's port in URL based on the website properties.

*Reason:*
When we call ofbizCatalogAltUrl with fillPath='true' flag, it appends the
incorrect port for redirect URL, due to which user is unable to navigate on the
product view page.

*Fixed*:
Removed fullPath flag from the transform in Order View page, redirect URL
working as expected.

Done following:
 # Added a status column on Find lead screen, so that user can distinguish the
converted leads easily.

Note:

Currently, we are not removing the converted leads from find lead page.

As all the associated opportunities of lead are listed out on the lead view
page. If a user wants to track the opportunity records for a lead, he can
easily navigate to the lead view page and their records from find lead screen.
So, we are listing all the leads along with the converted leads on this page.

For now, we are adding the status column on the screen to easily identify the
converted leads.

Added patch for the same.
