I've been guessing Michael would eventually do Vegas since he moved to
Bahrain. Maybe J.Brown inspired him not to call his career all quits just
yet. He'll make money in Vegas and he'll earn it.

I've been thinking the same thing, Derek, but when Toni Braxton's show took
off I sort of saw this coming. You gotta remember, Sinatra, Wayne Newton,
Gladys Knight, these cats made a mint out in Vegas. Michael Jackson could
do well out there but he won't do it. I'm not surprised someone sold Prince
into this.
That being said, I'm taking bets on when he quits and denounces Vegas as
Sin City.

Unless he was screening new material for an album for record executives or
doing a charity show when have you heard of Prince doing this type of
event?
Honestly, the whole Vegas thing strikes me as odd. Never in a hundred years
unless he was washed up did I expect Prince to take Root in Vegas. So for
him to do special show for High Rollers is just bizarre for me. Keep in
mind this is all in my humble opinion

My in-laws have been loyal Flamingo Hilton guests
(same owners as the
RIO)
and Rewards members for years and they received a
special invitation

the mail exclusively for them. It includes a 7:00pm
Prince concert at

on Saturday, January 13 (this weekend). Have you
heard anything about
this
and are you going? I'm assuming he will play at
midnight as well.
