Nowadays i am working on the "mw node" extension to ns2.33. but i found that 
the example file
 "tcl\ex\mwnode-ex.tcl" is not included in the 2.33 patch. So if anyone have 
that file, plz send

you can do the following: 1.$ns at 5 "[$node_(4) set netif_(0)] set RXThres=

I am try to change transmission power of each node according to some
parameters in my protocl,
How can I set and adjust a node transmission power in simualtion run time?

I know threshold -m  [other-options] distance
 and Phy/WirelessPhy set RXThresh_ 
 
 But I think it just work when creating a node,
but What should I do to change transmission power of for example
mobilenode(4) after 5 seconds ?

[ns] How a 802.11 node communicate with a 802.16 node?

Hi to all,
In the nist-wimax patch to ns2, i want to create a scenario in which 
802.11 nodes should communicate with 802.16 nodes. But i found that 
neither direct communication nor forwarding packets between nodes of 
different types is OK. 
Does anyone know how to do it, under nist-wimax patch or other extension
to ns2? Plz let me know, and any suggestion is highly appreciated. Thank you.

Hello everyone!
I'm trying a simulation in which one node needs to communicate with a 802.11 
network
as well as a 802.16 BS.
I have tried multifacenode(in a NIST packet): iface1 as a 802.11AP and iface2 
as a 
802.16SS, but it does not work probably because the two interfaces does not 
communicate 
with each other.
Can you help me? Any suggestion is appreciated. Thanks very much.

I want to change the node configuration when simulation is running. For 
example, i want to change RXthreshold of all nodes at 2.5s. How can I make it 
in my tcl script?
