Re: [nsbasic-ce] Re: required files to be installed in a CE device wiht Windows CE 5.0 core
For this device, MIPSII is the one most likely to work. The device itself appears to be a heavily customized Windows CE device, so it is possible the manufacturer has done something that makes it impossible for NS Basic apps to run. Did you hard reset the device (after backing up what you need) before trying NS Basic/CE 8? If that does not solve the problem, you would probably need to send us a sample device to our lab to figure out what is going on. >I appreciate your interest. > >Device : X5 VANT >OS : Windows CE 5.0 CORE >CPU: RMI Alchemy AU1250 700MHz >MEMORY : 256 DDR > >Detailed Spec.: > >http://www.myviliv.com/product/x5vant/product_x5vant_m01.asp > >--- In nsbasic...@yahoogroups.com, George Henne wrote: >> >> What device are you trying to use? >> >> >> >> On Oct 30, 2009, at 6:31 PM, "withjss" <6k2...@...> wrote: >> >> > Yes, all the platforms, especially MIPSII was tested. >> > >> > --- In nsbasic...@yahoogroups.com, George Henne wrote: >> >> >> >> Did you set the platform properly in Options > installers? >> >> >> >> >> >> On Oct 30, 2009, at 10:18 AM, "withjss" <6k2ecy@> wrote: >> >> >> >>> Test of NSBASIC 8.0 failed in CE device, >> >>> >> >>> I guess there maybe some limitation in compatiblity to CE. >> >>> >> >>> But WM and PPC successful. >> >>> >> >>> Good luck. >> >>> >> >>> >> >>> --- In nsbasic...@yahoogroups.com, "George Henne" wrote: >> >> NS Basic/CE 7.0 is obsolete. Test of NSBASIC 8.0 failed in CE device, I guess there maybe some limitation in compatiblity to CE. But WM and PPC successful. Thank you very much for quick reply. I will try again with NSBASIC 8.0 demo. However, I remember that NSBASIC 8.0 demo also was not operated with unknown error.
