Thanks to all for the wealth of information. Barry's reply suggests a possible need for a new sub-group within the NPS, the naturist sectionon second thoughts, I don't even want to picture it!! Actually I have a picture in my book of Barry playing au naturelle. Um, I mean the bag is not covered. Thankfully, Barry himself is! Does anyone remember a thread from the distant past when a now well-respected piper suggested playing in one's skin was a good way of discovering bellows leaks? Helen, I still have the pattern for your cat-bag. Did you copyright it, or shall I start a new business making cat- bags? Come to think of it, I haven't got time to start a new business. Marianne. It is important to allow the bag to be the sound chamber and not over insulate it. I know, I will be the but of cat jokes for ever now! I still haven't made the kiwi look-alike, anyone want to make me a curved chanter? Helen To get on or off this list see list information at http://www.cs.dartmouth.edu/~wbc/lute-admin/index.html --
