But to make it worse, even though the Wigan game didn't score high enough to
get one of the viewers choice matches, they've gone and decided that they will
televise that match on HD2 at the same time. So a nothing game and the lowest
ranking game get HD telecast and we get a poxy red button. Foxtel can get
stuffed after this weekend.

Read the comments. Even supporters of teams not involved with the relegation
dogfight are voting for the obvious matches.

e.g. "typical liverpool supporters, cant see past themselves. im an everton
fan and would love to see the game vs chelsea but voted for one of the
relegation clashes. i think the 4 relegation games should of automatically
been put in, with the viewers choice deciding the 5th game. In the uk, on
the last day, they show any match that influences the title or relegation,
should be the same here."

We'll be on. Our match is usually the first one being mentioned. Anyone know
what this comment about Blackburn about ?

" 1. Wolves v Blackburn (Blackburn deserve to go down after settling for a
draw against utd. Watching them pass the ball around the back four was a
disgrace)"

Idiots. Looks like they'll be showing Villa v Liverpool and Bolton v Man
City from the voting. 2 matches that dont mean anything to relegation, just
because of the volume of fans. They could easily just show the relegation
matches + ManUtd (anyway).

btw, If they are recording IPs, just try voting from a different machine or
connection (e.g. mobile, laptop, etc).

[NSWolves] Finances

2011-05-19 Thread Steven Millward
Whilst we are on the subject of club finances here is the run down of
Premier League teams. We are in an outstanding position.

http://www.scribd.com/fullscreen/55741334

Based on wages bills, we should have been relegated, with only Blackpool and
West Brom having a lower bill. I assume that players' ability is reasonably
well correlated with their wages so I'd infer from this that we have the
third worst squad in the division too.
