to think that if we lose to Bristol at the weekend, we are doomed to
Div 1 next season.  Anyone have differing views?

Some Mol Mix poster than made the same point yesterday that Saunders
had got 4 points from the first 6 games compared to 10 for Solbakken.

I pointed out that both Alex Fergusson and Stan Cullis got less than
Solbakken

I was feeling confident of a Wolves win this weekend, god knows why,
so went to have a bet on the Wolves via my Ladbrokes account, only to
find out the Buggars had closed it!

Apparently, since 22/12/12 it has been Ladbrokes policy not to allow
any online betting from people in Australia? They didn’t even tell
me, so I had to call them up so they could transfer my meagre winnings
back to my bank account here!

I am now going to open an account with our major sponsors. Wolves to
win 2 -1, Doyle one of the goal scorers!!

Enjoy the weekend everyone!

Cheers

[NSWolves: 8095] Transfers

2013-01-29 Thread chantrys
So, with one day left of the transfer window there seems to be very
little in the way of rumours around anyone coming in to strengthen the
side.  I wonder what type of connections Dean has with other teams?
Perhaps this is a major downfall with young managers that they
haven't been around long enough to know the market and establish
relationships to ensure that they get first pick of the talent.
It seems we won't let SEB go without a replacement lined up.Stearman
going isn't any great loss.Ward is generating interest but is the only
left back (bought as a striker by Mick) so we can't let him go.
I fear that we're going to head into the rest of the season with the
same squad, which scares the shit out of me.
What does everyone else think?

Whilst it was wrong of Hazard to kick him, I can only relfect that
the ball boy was doing what he sees players do every week on the pitch
and what Swansea probably told him to do.    By being a knob he'll
make a pot of cash and achieves minor "celebrity" for a while before
crawling back under whichever rock he came out from under.   I think
it was probably the ball boy that smashed up the bogs in the Aurora.

My guess would be when we're down to the last 3 diehards.

That would have been 12:30am in the days of the Edward bros but now
will be just after 9pm.

I'm aGOG that it's happened so fast.   I think it's interesting in
the context of the manager now being one of several senior management
figures at Wolves.  It seems he will have responsibility for coaching
the first team but that much of the scouting and youth system will be
dealt with by his new peers.  That is a step forward that a standard
replacement manager in the traditional mould would not have brought.
Presumably the zonal marking concept will be dropped and it will be
back to hoofball.  The players should be able to manage that in time
for Friday's Bald Norweigan Ex-Manager Derby

Yes very strange. Since being appointed as manager, Sunderland have won 5,

arsenal is a bit too lopsided. Arsenal are a dirty cheating team who dived at
every opportunity. There is no way Milijas should have been sent off for that
fair tackle.

Hennessy has the biggest kick in the league and played well.
Not too many teams will take points from the emirates.

Good mornings work and I hope Zubar's injury isn't too bad.

[NSWolves] This mornings matches

2011-12-21 Thread Chantrys
How on earth Berbatov can't get a start at Utd is beyond belief. He may appear
lazy but his touches and vision are class.

The Baggies got a result away to Newcastle.

Wigan have got a valuable point against Liverpool. Something we couldn't do.

Everton are starting to pick up points to pull away from us.

Sunderland have taken points of QPR.

We need to start winning.

Good response in the second half of the first half. Let's see how many halves
there are in the second half.

That's actually a good idea Rog. Mick can use his halftime talk to give
everyone a pay rise and then our season is safe. Genius!

Im beginning to think that our players are colour blind as they only seem to be

Ok, anyone watching the game this morning can see clearly as daylight the
difference a manager can have. One has a team playing ineffective hoof-ball
whilst the other has his team playing percentage possession football, which is
making the hoof-ball team look very, very ordinary.

Nope not really. A couple of boos at the final whistle but aside from a vocal

[NSWolves] Man City (off topic)

2011-12-12 Thread Chantrys
Watching Man City against Chelsea at the moment and the way that City are
playing Chelsea off the park I really can't see anyone stopping City. Their
passing at the moment is Barcelona-esque. Very very impressive, but I guess
they've spent a couple of pounds to get the team capable of playing like that.

Where's our Shiek?
