[NSWolves] Re: Rumour from todays Guardian [sec=unclassified]
He'd play for Wolves for nothing, such is his love for the club. Still not sure who we'll sign if we go up that will not break the current wage structure. Presumably there will be some upward flexibility for everyone. I'd love to know what the plan is as I'm sure there is one. 2008/12/18 > Apparently Keane is on close to 100k a week at Liverpool. > > > > Totally destroy our current wage structure if signed, can't see Moxey and > MM doing this in January. Apparently Keane is on close to 100k a week at Liverpool. Totally destroy our current wage structure if signed, can't see Moxey and MM doing this in January. Wish they would but highly unlikely. In answer to one of your earlier questions, I would love to see Jimmy Bullard and Ashley Young in a Wolves shirt. _ From: nswolves@googlegroups.com [mailto:nswol...@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of Steven Millward Sent: Wednesday, 17 December 2008 9:05 PM To: nswolves@googlegroups.com Subject: [NSWolves] Re: Rumour from todays Guardian [sec=unclassified] I just wonder how that will work in the Prem, should we go up. The chance of uncovering players from the lower leagues that can fit into Prem football straight away is very slim. We have a core of players now but we'll undoubtedly need reinforcements. Therefore, they'll either have to be at the top of the age range with some Prem experience, or be from Europe, which doesn't seem to fit either. I would sign Robbie keen like a shot. I just wonder how that will work in the Prem, should we go up. The chance of uncovering players from the lower leagues that can fit into Prem football straight away is very slim. We have a core of players now but we'll undoubtedly need reinforcements. I'm sure I read recently that we will avoid signing any "been there, done that" type of players who want to come to us because we are top. So expect more youngsters plucked from the lower league. Sinclair would be a great loan signing, if this story is true, the success of Mancienne's loan spell will have a influence.
