Hmm. Are you sure that showunic.tex was included in the distro? I
downloaded twice, and didn't find it. I did notice a new unic-run, however.

ah, i used the old name in the assembly script -)

[NTG-context] tables, etc.

2005-06-23 Thread Jörg Hagmann

Dear list members,

I have the following questions:

1) I want a table at textwidth. The contents of the boxes don't fit on
one line. When I use |lp|lp| etc., the width of the table is a
fraction of textwidth, and the contents of the columns overlay each
other (with long, unhyphenated words). I found \SetTableToWidth{} in
the beginner's manual (Table 11.3), but no matter where I placed that,
it didn't do anything, nor did all my other attempts. I finally
adjusted the table by hand (|lp(4cm)| etc). Is there a way of setting
the width of the table and let ConTEXt do the rest?

2) The horizontal rules (\HL) are a bit longer than the the text in the
table. How does one adjust them such that they are flush on both sides?
I tried with \DL, but didn't get what I hoped for.

3) I am using uncaptioned figures in the margin. When they are too
close, they overlap. Is there a way of making them know of each other's
existence (I sometimes want them as close as possible), or do I have to
place the code at an appropriate position myself?

Thank you for your patience, Jörg

I had recently updated miktex including the context.
After update the context fails to work. The kpsewhich

with new one provided by him. but still not working.

I am attaching error file as generated by DOS.

I am using miktex + win Edt in winXP.

does other miktex updaters also have same error. IF
not why in my update. I have already updated context
twice from the internet as of 17 jun 05 update.

can any one point point out what is wrong?

Re: [NTG-context] context on miktex update not working

2005-06-23 Thread Willi Egger

Hi Upendran,

Though i am not a MIKTeX user your error file sounds like
you did not create the format files after updating ConTeXt. So you
should run e.g. texexec --make en mptopdf metafun

For the sake of being sure run the MIKTeX tool for updating its database.

In your error log there is also a message concerning the format path.
Please make shure that this path (which was modified in recent versions
of ConTeXt) is known to MIKTeX.

Also there is a message on fixing the pfttex executable. I guess that
this is not set correctly in you MIKTeX installation.
