[NTG-context] Positioning graphics at positions on a page
Hi, Measuring from the top left hand corner of US letter paper, I'd like to position four identical metapost graphics, centered at (2in,2in), (6in,4in), (2in,6in) and (6in,8in). The first entry in each pair is the amount I'd like to move to the right from the top left corner of the page. The second entry is the amount I'd like to move down from the top left corner of the page. Any ideas? ___ ntg-context mailing list ntg-context@ntg.nl http://www.ntg.nl/mailman/listinfo/ntg-context

[NTG-context] figure bases (2nd)
hi, i'm tired of fixing \dogetfigurefilename in every new version. i have already shown that there is something wrong with it in my mail from 17.01.2007 http://archive.contextgarden.net/message/20070117.153030.344c6989.en.html i don't say, that i understand the complex code for figure inclusion, but it is obvious that the following code is at least questionable. (taken from x-fig-00.tex and x-res-04.tex) \def\dogetfigurefilename#1% {\ifx\figurefilename\empty \bgroup \xdef\figurefilebasepath{#1}% \assignfullfilename{#1}\figurefilebase\to\filename \expanded{\processXMLfilegrouped{\filename.xml}}% \ifx\figurefilename\empty\else % ^^ % is already tested in the prior \ifx test; if it's not changed % in the meantime...(\filename?) % \globallet\figurefilebase\figurefilebase % ^^ % does *nothing* (\filename works for me) \fi \egroup \fi} i have worked with a patched version for the last two month and had no (more) problems with figure inclusion. without it the pdf figure base is not found, although the corresponding xml file (which is found) is in the same directory. any comments are welcome. greetings, peter ___ ntg-context mailing list ntg-context@ntg.nl http://www.ntg.nl/mailman/listinfo/ntg-context

But I still regard it as bug that PPCHTeX uses italic in the title. (The title itself is *not* italic, I'm also not asking that the font/style should follow the surrounding text, though a \setupchemical option which toggles this would be great.) (Using \molecule as defined in the wiki is an alternative; your problem was different as you wanted the symbol to follow the style of the surrounding text. This would work as well here, but is actually the solution for a different problem.) If you've already dlded the file, just unzip it. From the command line: kpsewhich -expand-path='$TEXMFLOCAL' will tell you the location of your local tree. cd to this tree, then just unzip the cont-tmf.zip (probably using sudo, overwriting all files that may already be there) and regenerate the formats, and you should be in business. Hi Jelle, do you have to use a Proxy? In my ctxtools.rb i changed the line: http = Net::HTTP.new(site) to: proxy_addr = 'my.proxy.de' proxy_port = 80 http = Net::HTTP::Proxy(proxy_addr, proxy_port).new(site) After that an update via ctxtools was possible. The bad thing is, that i have to change it everytime before an update :-) Since ruby treats tha call to Net::HTTP::Proxy(proxy_addr, proxy_port).new(site) without giving proxy_addr and proxy_port the same way as Net::HTTP.new (site), perhaps Hans can change ctxtools.rb in this way.
