The Lucida OT family is indeed not free (it costs 110 US dollars from TUG), but 
tha Asana Math is included in the distribution of ConTeXt, LuaMetaTeX and, I 
think, TeXLive.

Handy work - after some time of using the prog, you see how much "handy" 
the program is, but hard to say which feature is essetial or most 
important; "total handyness" is the goal.


I would probably change this PDF viewer just if synctex worked WELL with 
the source (and in my case - I'm using Lua in ConTeXt widely to generate 
the PDF, so in most cases synctech navigates me badly to the source).

  Default on MacOS, fast & easy. No JS, bad forms support, updates
"sometimes". Usable as a previewer, not as a PDF toolbox.
- Adobe Reader DC (Mac)
  I use it only to check forms or as reference. Unusable GUI.
- Acrobat Pro 9 (Mac)
  Was my workhorse, but works on MacOS Mojave only partly; slow &
crash-prone; no updates. Can check PDF/X<4 and convert colors.
- PDF Studio Pro (on Mac & Linux)
  Bought to replace AcroPro9; JS support broken; slow startup; no
updates. Can check PDF/X, A, UA and convert colors.
  Ok with forms, but doesn’t support LiveCycle forms (deprecated, but
used by German boards).
- Qpdfview (Linux)
  Fast and easy; reliably updates.
- PDF.js (Browser or Atom)
  Is said to do SyncTeX (never tried). Easy, but slow. Updates.

[NTG-context] Where is tex/texmf-context?

Dear list,

Today I wanted to use ConTeXt MkIV instead of LMTX but when I ran
context, I obtained the error

mtxrun  | unknown script 'context.lua' or 'mtx-context.lua'

so I went to the installation directory /opt/context to check and
noticed that tex/textmf-context was missing.  I thought that obviously
something must have went wrong with the last update, so I deleted the
whole tree and ran the first-setup.sh again using

sh ./first-setup.sh --context=latest --engine=luatex --modules=all 
--fonts=all

but tex/texmf-context is still missing.  Is any of the options I'm using
for the install script broken?

For your answers and patient explanations I want to thank you, not to forget
[1], [2], [3] for instance! Now it gets clearer to me what the distinctive
features could be which one can encounter when using a combination of even so
wunderful programming languages as ConTeXt and Lua are!

As I said - I don't have to leave Emacs.  Also, incremental or grep-like
searching with literal text or regexen are killer features.
