Sure. Subscribe to the Lists - contextman-commits mailing list

 Hello,

The list seems to be broken. I don't get any email...

Can you check this list please? The last message I have received from it
was in April last year, so I guess that was still on the old
 software.

 TIA,
 Taco

Re: [Aleph] Re: [NTG-context] [ANN] XEmTeX 0.5-RC0

Hi Fabrice, My congratulations on the release of XEmTeX!

Thanks.

A question: Since XEmTeX is explicitly pdfeTeX based: Will Aleph
(which produces (o)dvi) and dvipdfmx be supported?

Both Aleph and dvipdfmx (latest CVS version) are provided.
You can get the standalone versions too from the same web page.

and lacks many-to-most TeX-related features. My concern about
XEmacs is that there appears to be virtually no movement in the
direction of this kind of multilingual support, something I find
 astonishing here in 2005-)

When I started using XEmacs, the developers were very active. Nowadays,
it is quite calm in this area. I have the impression that the situation
has been made very messy by the introduction of Mule long ago and that
it will be very difficult to make the switch to Unicode, to speak only
about the internals.

[NTG-context] Local environment

2004-11-02 Thread Fabrice Popineau

Suddendly I get this error message :

systems: end file sda at line 3
! Use of \localenvironment doesn't match its definition.
l.6 \localenvironment s
   da-env-slides
?

I upgraded a couple of weeks ago to the latest ConTeXt version and this
error message is new. Is there some workaround?

Thanks in advance,

RE: [NTG-context] m-bib module

I get an error recently with the m-bib module, probably due to some misuse
of it:

Any clue how to fix this ?

RE: [NTG-context] m-bib module

2004-10-18 Thread Fabrice Popineau
this is related to the low level interface that is now english, so, one
 needs the latest bib module

http://tex.aanhet.net/bib/

Unfortunately, I'm already using it. So either the real new one is hidden
somewhere else or there is still a problem.

system : macros of module bib loaded

(c:\Documents and Settings\popineau\My
Documents/texmf/tex/context/bib/t-bib.tex
! Undefined control sequence.
l.332 \definieerlijst
 [pubs][pubs]

system : macros of module list loaded

(c:\Documents and Settings\popineau\My
Documents/texmf/tex/context/bib/t-list.tex)
! Undefined control sequence.
argument \c!nummercommando
 =\bibleftnumber

I guess the new module is the one using t-bib.tex and t-list.tex.

Sorry, I forgot to migrate my alpha bib module when the context alpha
became the 'current distribution'. My latest module is/was still here:

I will fix the website a.s.a.p.

Many thanks !

Re: [NTG-context] Slides and notes

2003-11-03 Thread Fabrice Popineau

I use the modes mechanism (\startmode, \stopmode and friends) and I am
lacking imagination as to want more.

Something like :

\startslide

\stopslide

\startnote

\stopnote

together with modes screen and handout that would either generate
only slides or print them like this :
