I ran into what I think is a similar issue with LaTeX and was able to resolve it using the following command in the preamble: \pdfpageattr{/Group /S /Transparency /I true /CS /DeviceRGB} I have not yet tried to reproduce the problem in either LuaLaTeX or LaTeX. \setupcolors[pagecolormodel=auto] might help in acrobat, when transparency is used, a different route is followed (at least in the past) when rendering also, rendering colorspaces might be adapted to the output medium so it's a combination of colorspace, monitor/paper, calibration, knockout/overprint, transparency groups, assumptions etc in the end, a print on a proper device is the reference Hans - Hans Hagen | PRAGMA ADE Ridderstraat 27 | 8061 GH Hasselt | The Netherlands tel: 038 477 53 69 | voip: 087 875 68 74 | www.pragma-ade.com | www.pragma-pod.nl - ___ If your question is of interest to others as well, please add an entry to the Wiki! maillist : ntg-context@ntg.nl / http://www.ntg.nl/mailman/listinfo/ntg-context webpage : http://www.pragma-ade.nl / http://tex.aanhet.net archive : http://foundry.supelec.fr/projects/contextrev/ wiki : http://contextgarden.net ___

Re: [NTG-context] PDF/A with ConTeXt
2008/2/7, Santy, Michael [EMAIL PROTECTED]: Records management systems prefer to receive their PDFs compliant with the PDF/A standard (subset of PDF 1.4). Is there any mechanism in ConTeXt/pdfTex to specify the PDF output should comply with PDF/A? There is no single switch. PDF/A-1b is doable, -1a probably needs future extensions in the engine (tagged pdf). Both need other software to check the images.
