You need to install the Blackberry USB / Modem drivers.

He claims its plugged in to his laptop via USB but wont charge.
Reminds me of my older windows mobile phones, those POS devices wouldn't charge
in windows with a driver, but my Linux desktops would charge them...

I ask him to confirm.

You charge a BB by plugging it into a USB port. No software needed. If he has
the wall adapter, it just uses the same USB cable to step down 115V AC and
charge it.

I can't imagine a need for any driver just for charging.

We don't use bb's here, but a salesman has asked me to install the driver so it
can be charged on his laptop.
Is it just BlackBerry Device Manager I need for this guy?

Thanks,

You should be able to create an account at: itrc.hp.com and add it to your

I have 4 HP DL380 G5 servers that I purchased over the last few years. On the
Dell website you can enter the Service Tag and it will tell you the Purchase
Date and the Warranty expiry date, is there a similar website for HP?

Have you switched to a 3rd party spam filtering service recently? That
happened to me when we switched - opened a service ticket and they got the list

Connect two servers via fiber NICs

2008-03-13 Thread Bret Hanson
Is it possible to connect 2 servers together via fiber NICs? With copper
we need crossover cables - is there something similar for fiber?

Thanks!

Lake Geneva here. Its so cold the air conditioner that services the
server room won't run (its an outdoor unit). Getting creative with box

It's not bad in Ft Worth, TX. We're at a balmy 31 degrees with wind
chills of 22 degrees.

I'm nice and comfy sitting at my desk working from home. I love
telecommuting!!
