They have a old copier that used to send emails via The old internal Exchange server(5.5). It does not have authentication capabilities, only the ability to send to an IP address. They would like to be able to send mail to their internal users from this device. I have a call into the Hosting company looking for suggestions. I was wondering if you folks might have any ideas. RE: Storage server 2003 SLOW!!!
Antivirus? I have seen similar behavior with Vipre on a Windows 2000 Terminal server. So SK sees the behavior remotely and locally. CF only sees it remotely. That right? Does anyone else have this problem? Remoting to the server using Remote desktop, the applying Security Settings stays on for 45 minutes, then I can sign on, but the Applying Computer Settings box stays up for another 2-3 hours. Once on the system, a simple thing like a Flash player upgrade (to get a broadband speed test done) takes over an hour. This is on several of these servers. Naturally, all are at remote sites. ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/ ~
Tape Backup Device suggestions
I'm looking into purchasing a new tape backup device for backing up some file servers. I currently have a 8 slot Quantum Autoloader LTO-2. I'm considering an LTO-4 similar device. Any specific manufacturer better than the others? All my storage is locally attached no NAS or SAN involved. Thanks in advance. NAC Device
We are looking at purchasing a NAC device to ensure compliance on our network. I'm looking for feedback. Are they difficult to manage? What vendor would you recommend? RE: NAC Device
I really don't know much about the product. I do have some systems that can't have an agent installed on them. Not sure if this applies here.
