UPS support for free version of VMWare ESXi
Hi, I'm looking to setup free version of VMware ESXi on 2 of our production servers but have come accross issue when looking into UPS support. It seems RCLI no longer works with free version of ESXi and due to this APC no longer support ESXi and scripts found in VMware community forums also no longer work. Is their no longer simple way to setup UPS with free version of ESXi or have I made mistake in my research? RE: UPS support for free version of VMWare ESXi
I appreciate the help but I've got zero Linux skills so I rather not go down unsupported CLI route. Even though I prefer ESXi I'm going to have look at Hyper-V as that's seems to be fully supported by APC and very easy to setup. Shazad - Original message - From: Steven M. Perhaps you can get things working there? The OS is rather paired down tho… it’s a the BusyBOx distribution of Linux, IIRC. (you got standard or professional ?) _ From: Shazad Anwar [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, April 30, 2008 9:58 AM To: NT System Admin Issues Subject: Media kit for older Microsoft products Hi, I think I'm chasing a lost cause but does anyone know where I can obtain media kit for volume license copy of Microsoft Project 2002? I've tried without any luck: * Microsoft - As they no longer support the product they won't supply a media kit * Local MS Reseller - Cannot obtain media kit for MS software that is more than 2 generations old * eOpen site - Again can only download software that is current and 1 generation old (Project 2003 and 2007) * Google - Cannot find any company online with media kit in stock Microsoft part number/SKU is: 076-02499 Licenses for this software were purchased by a previous IT admin and as we have 19 licenses I'm hoping I can find a media kit. Any help would be appreciated. _ Shazad This message and any associated files are intended only for the use of the individual or entity to which it is addressed and may contain information that is confidential, subject to copyright or constitutes a trade secret.
