  The Samsung TVs do indeed have a built-in web browser.  It's slow
and quirky, doesn't render even moderately complex sites well, and
hangs a lot.  Or so my brief experience is.  It would appear most of
the gadgets and apps and things on the TV are web-based, but they
work a lot better for being tuned for the TV in particular.  As a
general-purpose web browser, not so good.

  That said, you're talking about fairly specific data, so maybe you
could tune it for the TV.

  *That* said, the Samsung and LG TVs I've worked with didn't have any
advertised way to automatically go into a web page at start-up.  So
every time you lose power or the TV resets, you'd have to manually go
in and tell it to load the web page again.

  *That* said, I didn't look very hard.  Further, there may be more
specialized options available on the market.  There are certainly
third-party products that do that kind of thing; digital signage is
the generic term.

  *That* said, it might be easier/cheaper/whatever to just buy some
TV-over-CAT5 extender boxes and generate your video signal from a
single PC.

It sounds like you don't want to run wires to the TVs. Have you looked

You cannot open a spreadsheet on any WiFi enabled TV that I know of. 
No, they don’t have a browser, they have widgets. The only method I 
know fo is a PC connected that supports 3 monitors.

Just checking the Samsung manual online:

Web Browser

For LED 6300 and 6900 Series

(May not be available, depending on your country.)

Using the Web Browser function provided by the Smart Hub, you can surf the
Internet on your TV.

1. To open Web Browser, press the l / r / u / d buttons to select
Web Browser, and then press the ENTER button.

2. Surf the Internet in the much the same way as on a PC.

  I don't even know if this is possible with today's consumer tech,
but IP-enabled consumer TVs are becoming relatively common.  You might
be able to just publish the info you want to an internal webserver,
and then have the TVs display that web page.  All you'd need would be
an Ethernet line or wireless access point within range of each TV.

last month's Maximum PC ... it was meant for multi monitor gaming, but will
achieve your goals too.  I cannot remember if they used SLI or crossfire for
graphics adapter teaming

*span* monitors with a single display ... That should be a simple google-fu
search, but I haven't looked myself.

There are converters to use Cat6 for video.  If you are talking about a
spreadsheet, you don't need high performance.

How do you intend to get a spreadsheet updating without someone reloading it
periodically?

A VGA distribution amp with 3 or more outputs and as someone else mentioned VGA 
over cat5 extenders should work well.
And if you really want to impress them, 3 of those nice new drool inducing 
Sharp 70 LCD tvs.
