Popular Mechanics and Instructables have teamed up for five pranks you can

If the victim can't touch type, and the keyboard allows it, move
their key caps around, e.g., swap T and Y.

Take a screenshot of the desktop with nothing open, then set that as
their desktop background. Tell Windows to hide all the icons on the
desktop.

Put some clear tape over the light sensor of his optical mouse.
Most mice won't work like that, despite the fact that the beam still
appears to be on, to casual inspection.

Use Control Panel to swap left and right mouse buttons.

Use Control Panel to change their date format from MM/DD/YY to
DD/MM/YY, or vice versa.

The nice thing about the above is that they don't need any special
software, or even admin privilages in most cases.

Some video drivers allow you to rotate the screen image by pressing
[CTRL]+[ALT]+[RIGHT ARROW]. Flip their screen upside down.

Anybody familiar with a Windows based program that will generate a click out
of the speaker (motherboard/system speaker) with every key pressed?

Thought of getting chia-pet grass to grow through a keyboards keys, but
kinda short on time :-)
