Actually, there may be an easier way. Most home users use those little dummy icons to log in, and frequently never set the administrator password.
If so, all you need to do is hit Ctrl-Alt-Del three times in a row so it gives you a text-mode logon prompt, then enter Administrator and no password, and presto you're in.
